Agniveer Army recruitment for candidates from Himachal Pradesh’s Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, and Kinnaur districts who have passed the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be held from September 3 to 9, the Army’s recruitment director in Shimla said in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement said that all candidates who have passed the online examination must bring their documents, such as Class 10 and 12 marksheets, domicile certificates, Dogra/minority certificates, caste certificates, character certificates (issued online by tehsildars), and NCC/sports certificates, for verification.
Candidates who have passed the Common Entrance Examination will have to undergo a 60-mark physical fitness and measurement test during the recruitment drive. Under this, candidates must run 1.6 km in 5 minutes and 30 seconds.
Subsequently, candidates must do 10 pull-ups, for which 40 marks have been allocated. They also need to pass a 9-ft-long jump test and a zig-zag balance test. Only those candidates who complete the 1.6-km run in at least 5 minutes and 45 seconds will be selected for the next phase of the recruitment drive.
Candidates will get an official notification about the recruitment on their registered mobile numbers or email IDs.
